Target Coupon Policy Change

I am NOT happy about Target "updating" their coupon policy. All these policy changes are occurring (in my opinion) because of that stupid, ridiculous show called Extreme Couponing.

Target has updated the Buy One Get One section of the coupon policy & also added that "printed" free internet coupons will no longer be accepted. Can  you say BULL CRAP?! I email Target yesterday about my concern over the no longer accepting internet printed free coupons. I am very concerned because there are many companies that will MAIL OUT a "printed" coupon that looks like it has been printed from home. You can however usually tell that the difference from the back. I can already sense a huge headache from this!

Target did email me back and said "For questions about using a specific coupon, we encourage you to stop by the Guest Service Desk and ask to speak with the Guest Service Team Leader. They'll do their best to help while you're in the store. If you still have questions after speaking with them, please call our Guest Relations team at (800) 440-0680. Either way, we're here to help!"

-.- I shall see how "helpful" they are when I go to use one!!

But here are the changes for the B1G1:

  • B1G! coupons cannot be combined (i.e. you cannot use two B1G1 coupons on two items and get both for free). Unless stated otherwise on the coupon, the use of one Buy One Get One Free coupon requires that two of the valid items are presented at checkout of which one item will be charged to the guest and the 2nd item will be discounted by its full retail price.

  • A second cents-off coupon of the same type cannot be redeemed towards the purchase price of the first item.If a Target BOGO coupon is used, one additional manufacturer coupon maybe used on the first item. If a Manufacturer BOGO coupon is used, one additional Target coupon may be used on the first item.
