Johnson & Johnson is recalling 13 million packages of Rolaids soft chews for heartburn after consumers reported finding metal and wood particles in the products.

While they claim the risk of serious health effects is "remote," anyone who has purchased Rolaids Extra Strength Softchews, Rolaids Extra Strength plus Gas Softchews, or Rolaids Multi- Symptom plus Anti-Gas Softchews should stop using the products immediately.

The Dragon and the Turtle review

I was given a children's book titled The Dragon and the Turtle written by Donita K. Paul and Evangeline Denmark by Blogging for Books. The illustrations was very colorful and full of life. The storyline was very creative and kept the attention of my two little girls. The loved the Dragon, Padraig, in this story. This story teaches a basic concept of helping out people that are in trouble. Love and compassion are also a lesson that is taught. Patience is also a concept of this book. No matter how many times Roger told Padraig that this was not his house, Padraig asked for more description and went off to find another house.

This book is based on Proverbs 17:17 which states "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity." The book quite adequeately illustrates this principal. Padraig has needs himself, but he goes out of his way to meet Roger even though they have just met. This action shows children how important it is to be a friend to have a friend.

One of my favorite features of this book is the back of the book! The back of the book features ideas for discussing the principles mentioned in the book. Areas for further discussion are provided as well as ideas of things for kids to do to be good friends.

Roger, an adventurous young turtle, has always enjoyed playing pirate. He likes sailing the seven seas, catching fish and having pirate adventures. One day on his adventures, he is blown off course and winds up lost.

Padraig is a pint sized dragon. As the story opens, he is enjoying snacking on crunchy bugs. He is looking for another delicious bug, when he comes upon Roger.

Padraig asks Roger what is wrong. Roger explains that he is lost and getting hungry. Padraig, puts his own hunger aside to help Roger. Padraig asks Roger to tell him about his house. Rodger describes the color of his house. Padraig sets off to find the house. As the story goes along, Roger keeps adding descriptions of his house to make it easier for Padraig.

My favorite item I received was the Microdry Bath Mat. I really felt like stepping on a piece of a cloud. I loved it! My foot would just sink into the mat and water would absorb so much better than a regular bat mat. I was very impressed.

I also received a Safety Bath Time Audible Thermometer. It was very handy. It was a little turtle that floats in the water. You just sit it in the bath water and within a few seconds it will beep and tell you the temperature of the water. This is a very useful to ensure that the bath water is not too hot for you or your children. I used it for both my children and I. It also doubled up as a neat bath toy for my children. They would dunk it under the water and it would not harm the thermometer.

It also had these little pouches where you could store items such as shampoos.

The final product I received was the Safety Bath Time Faucet & Tap Protector. I think that this product is a good idea. It covers the faucet and the tap where the children would not be able to touch them. I have the problem where my children likes to turn the water off and on and the Faucet & Tap Protector stopped them from being able to get to the faucet. The only problem I had with this product was putting in on my bathtub. It was hard to make it fit over my faucet and then I had the problem of it staying on after I got it up.

What sport gives your washer and dryer the biggest workout? And, why?

My children are 3 and 4 and I let them participate in children's soft ball. We have a small group of children that plays in my neighborhood. When they play softball, my washer gets a HUGE workout! So on top of their regular activity and the dirty workout they get from playing softball, they come home a complete mess. Sears provides several appliances that can help not only me but YOU when it comes to cleaning up after that hard day of sport activity, whatever it may be for you! Football, baseball, softball... I know that my Sears showroom located in Knoxville, TN has a huge selection that I can choose from with a really nice selection of washers and dryers. I love the styles they provide. I received Juno Baby: Juno's Rhythm Adventure from a great company called Juno Baby. I was given a copy for my two girls to watch and for me review. This has to be one of the cutest movies. I received this about four days ago and Haley and Amberly have already watched Juno Baby about 10 times! There are many concepts that are taught throughout the movie. They stay interested throughout the whole 45 minute long movie and that says a whole lot! My kids usually will stay interested in a movie for about 15 minutes and rarely asks to watch a movie over and over, but Juno Baby is not one of those movies!
