*CLOSED*Newborn Necessities Book Review & Giveaway
The Newborn Necessities book is a great way to keep track of all these things. I really like that Newborn Necessities sets up guidelines to what to expect when doing things for your baby. It is also very understandable. You can use this book if you are breastfeeding or bottle feeding.

I remember when I had Haley and Amberly. The nurses wanted me to keep up with all their feedings, diaper changes, bowel movements. I was overwhelmed with everything that I was suppose to keep up with. I wish I had Newborn Necessities then and I am glad I have it now for when I have another baby!
I also love that Newborn Necessities is very affordable! You can buy it for $8.99 on Amazon!
About Newborn Necessities:
Are you a new or expecting parent? Do you know someone who is? If so, this book is for you. There are many items you will need to get ready for your baby, and Newborn Necessities is one of those things. As soon as your baby is born, your doctor, midwife, nurse, and/or pediatrician will ask you to keep track of his or her feedings and diaper changes. Make it easier on yourself by writing it down. Using the charts provided in Newborn Necessities will help eliminate common feelings of stress and anxiety associated with, When did I last feed the baby? Is he/she eating enough? When was their last bowel movement? This book is designed for parents by parents. It is intended to make your journey into parenthood a little bit easier by providing you with easy-to-use charts to document this information. It is a quick, compact, and easy-to-understand way to chart this information, thus leaving you more time to spend with your baby and catch up on your sleep! Jennifer Cigale lives in Boca Raton, Florida, with her spouse and two children. As a new mother, she developed these charts for her own use and was soon sharing them with friends and family who were also starting families. She holds a master's degree in Occupational Therapy and has used her education and training as an occupational therapist to identify problems and develop working solutions for her patients.

Have you ever had that overwhelming feeling when you was a first-time mom/dad, or even a second, third, fourth?
This book is jammed packed with some helpful tips to help you survive and enjoy the first year with your baby. I was sent Help! My Baby Came Without Instructions! by Blythe Lipman.

My thoughts:

- Make a recording of you or Daddy singing lullabies and play them over and over for her.

*CLOSED* The Attitude Girl Review & Giveaway
The Attitude Girl is a novel, written for young adults, ages 15 and up, and their parents. As a fellow-author said, "It's a wonderful read for the young and the young at heart." It's a coming-of-age story that follows a 17-year-old girl, who's outspoken and materialistic, on her rocky road to adulthood as she struggles with financial setbacks, first love, idealism, loss, forgiveness, and, most of all, her attitude. The book is jam-packed with drama and emotional conflict, trials and tribulations, romance and humor. It's a compelling winner of 8 literary awards.
One lucky winner will win The Attitude Girl. ($16.95 Value)

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Amazing Sex vs. Sex For Dummies *Adult Post*
The Complete Idiot's Guide To Amazing Sex
Pictures: was not black and white & was actual people!
8-page full color photographic insert of Sar's eight original sexual positions. I love that I could actually see how a man and woman are suppose to position themselves to have amazing sex! A lot better than some "drawings".
Chapters:
Current Sexual Trends and Attitudes
Sex within Marriage and long-term relationships
Body Image, Obesity and Plastic Surgery and Their Effect on Sexuality
Exciting Techniques for Reaching Multiple Orgasms for Men and Women
Tips on Specific Sexual Activities, Including Playful Ideas on Locations and Toys
The Complete Idiot's Guide to Amazing Sex has fresh advice and ideas on how readers can improve their sex life and have that amazing sex.
My thoughts: I really like The Complete Idiot's Guide to Amazing Sex. The cover of the book made me feel like I could actually relate to this book. It had two people on the cover. Sometimes it can be embarrassing to even thing about reading a book about sex, let alone Amazing Sex! The Complete Idiot's Guide really reaches out to their readers. It is written in a manner that everybody can understand. LOL, like we really are "idiots". Written in idiot tone. ^.^
I actually learned quite a bit of tips on improving my sex life! I am sure everybody from time to time could use some tips to spice up their sex life. After being married for so long, sex tends to lose its luster. Being a mother, I am not as um..."spunky" as I use to be. These tips and "positions" I learned will help me get back into the groove!
Sex For Dummies
Pictures: "Drawings"
I was very bored with the pictures in Sex for Dummies. It just may be me, but I don't learn or get aspired by drawings...when it comes to this subject!
Chapters:
Discover how to
* Enjoy the first time
* Enhance foreplay and afterplay with your partner
* Avoid STDs and have safer sex
* Discuss sex with your kids
* Navigate cybersex
I was really thrown off on the "cybersex" section. o.O I am not really into the whole cybersex thing. Reading this section, I was really...well uncomfortable.
The style of writing was very informative and nonjudgmental, but I could not connect with the style of writing. It was a lot of information thrown together but I could not connect with the book like I did with The Complete Idiot's Guide to Amazing Sex.
One thing that I wish I got to read a long time was the section on how to enjoy the first time! LOL! Would have came in handy. ;)
The cover...well it is like any other "For Dummies" books. I like that with "The Complete Idiot's Guide" books the covers are all different. It helps me understand the subject better, whatever it may be.
So, the challenge: Compare The Complete Idiot's Guide to Amazing Sex & Sex for Dummies...
I completed this. Results?
I like The Complete Idiot's Guide to Amazing Sex a lot better than Sex for Dummies.
If you like a book that will give you honest advice and tips to reach that amazing sex...then Complete Idiot's Guide to Amazing Guide is the book for you!

Here, Home, Hope by Kaira Rouda Review
I received a digital copy of Here, Home, Hope from One 2 One Network. Here, Home, Hope is a book about a mother who has become restless with her life. Everything is becoming a routine and nothing new is exciting. I can relate to this. I bet many of us could really relate. I know that my life has settled into the "Mommy Routine". The same thing happens every day. Take care of the kids, the house, the pets. Cook dinner, baths, bedtime. Same ol' same ol'. Kelly, the main character, decides to "spice up" her life in this book. I have been doing stuff to try to get out of the same old routine. Like going to Dollywood, yard saling, and just getting out of the house! What ways have you been getting out of your routines?About Here, Home, Hope by Kaira Rouda (incerpt taken from Good Reads)
Kelly Mills Johnson becomes restless in her thirty-ninth year. An appetite for more forces her to take stock of her middling middle-American existence and her neighbors' seemingly perfect lives. Her marriage to a successful attorney has settled into a comfortable routine, and being the mother of two adorable sons has been rewarding. But Kelly's own passions lie wasted. She eyes with envy the lives of her two best friends, Kathryn and Charlotte, both beautiful, successful businesswomen who seem to have it all. Kelly takes charge of her life, devising a midlife makeover plan.
From page one, Kelly's witty reflections, self-deprecating humor, and clever tactics in executing that plan—she places Post-it notes all over her house and car—will have readers laughing out loud. The next instant, however, they might rant right along with Kelly as her commitment to a sullen, anorexic teenager left on her doorstep tries her patience or as she deflects the boozy advances of a divorced neighbor. Readers will need to keep the tissue box handy, too, as Kelly repairs the damage she inflicted on a high school friend; realizes how deeply her husband, Patrick, understands and loves her; and ultimately grows into a woman empowered by her own blend of home and career.
Here, Home, Hope will surely appeal to readers of chick lit and other women's fiction titles who are ready to transition into something new in their own life.
