Holiday Gift Guide: The True Story of Puss 'N Boots #Review

My family is a huge fan of Puss 'N Boots, so we was extremely excited to be given the opportunity to watch "The True Story of Puss 'N Boots" starring William Shatner. 

The True Story of Puss 'N Boots is about a farmer's son who inherits a cat. The farmer's son is deeply in love with the princess that loves to sing and dance. But the Evil Court Jesters wants the princess too and is doing everything in his power to get the princess. The cat seems to be very odd, while all the characters are well...unique. He promises the farmer's son that he will help get them together and they can all live happily ever after! In the end, he does keep his promise!

I noticed right away that this movie was nothing like Shrek. It did have a few cute and funny parts throughout the movie. Haley and Amberly enjoyed watching it, but it is not a movie that I would watch again. However, it did keep their attention throughout the movie since they enjoyed watching the Princess sing and dance.

The Real Story of Puss 'N Boots would make a great stocking stuffer, but remember that it is totally different than the new movie Puss 'N Boots and has no similarities to the Shrek character.

The Slice Safety Cutter #Review

I was recently given the opportunity to review The Slice Safety Cutter - Great for Couponers.

I was actually surprised at how small it was. My first thought was what am I going to be able to do with this small thing?

I tried it out on my huge stack of coupons first. I was very surprised at how well it fit in my hand and how easy it was to use!

My Review:

I had the opportunity to choose which MyOwnPet balloon I wanted. Of course, I picked the pony for my girls. 

I had to take it to my local Party City to get it filled with helium, which the filled it for free. (Thank you Party City!)

I actually did this when I did not have the girls with me. I tied the pony's leash on one of my kitchen chair and just waited for Haley and Amberly to notice their new pet!

When Haley and Amberly saw the pony they both ran towards it! I showed them how to walk the pony. 

It was very cute watching them play with their new MyOwnPet balloon. 

After about 2 & 1/2 weeks, I just take it back down to Party City to get it refilled. 

It is a toy that can last for a LOOONG time!

I am very pleased with MyOwnPet balloons!

I don't know if it is just me or not, but I have a hard time finding a body scrub that I just fall in love with. I have tried several different brands and have never been truly happy with the products.

Body story began years ago with a singlee trip to Kenya. We connected with wonderful, intelligent women working hard to feed their families. 

Their small-scale enterprise was called Coast Coconut Farms, where they produced virgin, organic coconut oil by hand. Intrigued by their commitment, skill, and entrepreneurial spirit, we were determined to help these women tell their story and grow their business. The result is BasaBody, named after the women of Mombasa, Kenya, where Basa's coconut oil is produced.
