UGH! Facebook Changes Again!

Well, it seems that Facebook has made some more changes again. I am so excited....NOT!

As of a few days ago, if you do not "interact" in some way with a page (like Jennifer's Deals) you will not see any posts in your feed!

If you don't "interact" then you won't see my posts! 

You will miss the updates on freebies, deals, coupons, & GIVEAWAYS!

How can you solve this problem??

First, interact in some way on Jennifer's Deals. Like a post, leave a comment, share a post. 

Subscribe by email, twitter, Rss Feed, or Networked Blogs!

I would HATE it if any of my readers miss out on a good deal or awesome giveaway because Facebook is deciding who YOU are going to see news feed from!

One more thing...If you don't see the posts in your feed, you won't see this post either...unless a friend shares it with you or you are subscribed to emails, RSS, Twitter or some other platform!

So go ahead and let your friends know how to interact too!

I have also heard that you can switch back to the old format.

You can click the SORT button located just under the status bar and switch the format to Recent Stories first!

Why Did Facebook Make These Changes?

I have been couponing, freebie hunting and trying to save money for a little over 2 years now. I started out very small but have grown in many areas, and I think that all my readers enjoy my page. I made a Facebook Page for Jennifer's Deals and after some hard work and promoting I have a fairly descent fan base of 5000+! Yes, I am quite proud of my fan base! I love finding and posting great deals for each and every single one of you!


I have used Facebook as a great place to reach out to all my fans, but the other day I got on Facebook and saw the news feed change. Immediately I hated it. I could already tell it was going to be one HUGE headache. But what I didn't realize at that time was how drastically it was going to affect Jennifer's Deals! 


People are just now seeing the deals, giveaways, reviews, and freebies that I am posting! My statistics have dropped dramatically and it has made me quite sad. I want to be able to reach out to everybody like I use to!


So the question is, why did Facebook make these changes? I am not quite sure. I thought the old news feed worked great and I could see all the pages I liked. I have looked over the changes and noticed that you can make lists. 


Here is my first suggestion: FOLLOW JENNIFER'S DEALS THROUGH EMAIL. <-- This is the perfect way to follow Jennifer's Deals. The deals, giveaways and everything I post will go straight to your email.


Second suggestion: FOLLOW JENNIFER'S DEALS ON TWITTER. All my posts and then some get tweeted.


Third suggestion: FOLLOW JENNIFER'S DEALS THROUGH GOOGLE FRIEND CONNECT OR RSS FEED.


Fourth Suggestion: MAKE A LIST ON FACEBOOK THAT COULD INCLUDE ALL YOUR FAVORITE COUPONING/FREEBIE PAGES INCLUDING JENNIFER'S DEALS.


I want to make sure that I am sharing all the great deals with everybody and it is killing me that I know these changes are stopping what I love to do! So hopefully, I can reach you all in other manners!


As always, I will continue to share everything on Facebook and I hope that people will see them. I love you all!

2. Watch for the Flash Giveaway posts by Nana (starting at 7:00 PM/CST 8:00 PM/EST)

3. I will post a feature sponosor site, you will have a designated time to go to that page. Click "like" on thier page and post a comment that " Nana Sent You" Change this up but at least let them know who sent you on each one. (I suggest you change your wording fron time to time on posts as not to get face book flagged from commenting) Just give em some lovin and let em know Nana sent you.

4. Come back to Nanas Deals and More and find the feature sponosor post I just did telling you where to go and UNDER that post let me know you have done step 4.

5. Winner will be picked by random.org from those commenting in proper place from step 94) above. . So be sure to leave your done comment in the correct area - ( UNDER THE FEATURE SPONOSOR POSTS THAT NANA DID- NOT JUST ON MY WALL). Winners will only be selected from this list on each feature giveaway sponsor/prize post.

7.
