Five Question Friday 8/19

I didn't realize that Five Question Friday was back in action until just a few minutes ago! So, here it is!

1. Do you close the bathroom door when you are home alone?

No, If I am home alone I don't see why I should have to close the bathroom door. It is just me! Haha.

2. You have to walk around with a word on your forehead. That word describes you. One word. What is it?

Mother. Being a mother to my beautiful little girls is what I am the most proudest of. Everything I do is for my girls. 

3. What store do you refuse to shop at and why?

I refuse to shop at Toys R Us. I was treated horribly there once and has vowed to never go there again. 

4. If you participated in arranged marriages for your child(ren), who would you choose for your child(ren)?

I have no clue. My girls are so little that really there is nobody that I would arrange a marriage with right now. Ask me later! LOL

5. If you could pick how and when you would die, would you?

If I could pick I would choose to die in my sleep when I am old! After my girls are grown and are on their own!

Five Question Friday 8/5

1. Do you have siblings and are you close with them?

Yes, I do have siblings. I have a sister, who is my best friend. I found out that I had a half brother last year. I have never met him before and only know his first name, Micheal. It kills me that I never got to grow up with my brother. I tried to find him but it is really hard when my dad won't give me any real information. I don't know if it hurts him that he was never there for his son? I just wish I could find him and meet him. Maybe one day?

2. Would you rather be slightly UNDER weight or slightly OVER weight?

Um, this is a hard one. I think that being slightly under weight is worse than being slightly over weight. LOL Maybe because I am "slightly over weight". Ok My weight is really not that bad. I can't expect my body to be the same after having two children right? I am not that skinny teenager anymore. :/

3. What's your favorite State Fair food to splurge on?

Hot dogs and chili...tho I am not a big State Fair person. I have a weird stomach so I have to be very careful what I eat. I always have this fear of getting food poisoning from places like this!

4. What are your thoughts on your kid(s) going to school in a few weeks?

I am SO EXCITED and can't wait. This summer has been so long. I really need a break from my kids before I have a nervous breakdown. LOL. But my baby is going to start Kindergarten this year. I can't believe how much my babies are growing up!

5. Pool or Ocean?

Oh, I would love to go to the ocean. I love the feeling of the waves and cool water. It is soooo nice! But my hubby hates the ocean. :/ I also like the pool.

Five Question Friday 7/29 (A Day Late)

1. Vow renewal ceremonies-yay or nay?

I don't really care about vow renewals myself. One time is enough for me. LOL. But who knows, it may change in 20 years.

2. What sound/s annoy you the most?

The sound that annoys me the most is the high pitch scream of my children when they are fighting. UGH.

3. If you had to pick, would you have only all boys, or only all girls for kids?

If I had to pick, I would keep it all girls like I have. I would not change having my girls for nothing.

4. Do you believe in alternative medicine?

Depends. I think that in some cases alternative medicine should be used but is not appropriate in all cases.

5. Would you take a family member's children and raise them if they needed it?

Yes, I would. It would be hard for me, since I already have 2 kids but I could not turn my back on my family like that. I would do my best to help the children. 

Five Question Friday 7/22

1. If your husband had the BIG V and you got pregnant what would your first reaction be? For the dudes, what would your first reaction be if your wife told you she was pregnant after the Big V?

I would freak out. I know that Adam would think I cheated, but I do not  believe in cheating. I love Adam with all my heart and I do not want to be with another man. I would tell him that I was pregnant after the Big V and hope for the best reaction. If there was a problem, I would have a DNA test to prove that I never cheated.

2. Best memory about this summer so far.

Watching my children ride on a boat for the first time ever.

3. How often do you change your sheets? Your kids sheets?

I change my sheets like once every two weeks. It seems like I am always changing the girls sheets. They are always getting stuff on it.

4. Having just gone through TSA, would you rather have a full-body scan or a pat-down?

Nope, I sure haven't.

5. Since it is fair time...what's your favorite fair (county or state) memory?

Um...I remember one time when I went with my sister, mom and dad and my dad actually let me ride all the rides. It was fun.

1. If you knew your best friend's spouse was cheating on her or him, would you tell her (him)?

Yes, I would tell my best friend. I would rather tell her or him, then have to explain that I knew and never told them! o.O

2. Soda in a can or a bottle?

I like both. It really does not matter as long as it is cold.

3. What do you wash first, hair or body?

I wash my hair first.

4. What advice would you give to any new mama?

My advice would be to take the help when people offer. If they offer to do the little things, like wash your dishes, pick up a little bit. Take them up on it. It will be less stress for you to worry about.

5. What is your best hangover remedy?

Don't drink? I am not a drinker so I don't have this problem.

1. Do you think cursive writing is overrated? (Schools in Indiana have now voted to take teaching cursive writing out of their curriculum.)

I do think that cursive writing is overrated. I always like writing in print. I must admit that my cursive writing looks awful! I also hate how it takes me twice as long to write something out. But, I do like the look of cursive writing in a letter. If you can write pretty, the letters look so professional.

2. Do you still use a pocket calendar or notepad or do you keep your info on your smart phone?

I don't use a pocket calendar or my smartphone. I usually just use a regular calendar to write down the very important dates that I need to remember. Such as dr. appts.

3. What 3 things would you save if your house was burning down? (family & pets are already safe)

My DVDS, My pictures, & My laptop 

4. Country Mouse or City Mouse, err Person?

I am more of a City Mouse. I use to live in the country when I was growing up. I like being around places. I really don't like having to drive an hour out of my way to get to Walmart. 

5. If you could pick ANY reality show to go on, which would you pick?

I would pick Keeping up with the Kardashians! I am a huge fan and would love to hang out with them.
