Going Green: Lotus Bebe Bamboo Blanket Review

When it comes to blankets for my children, I am always on the hunt for the best! I was introduced to Lotus Bebe and I fell in love with their bamboo blankets!


Their bamboo blankets are made of a bamboo fiber fleece that is softer than the softest cotton, has a natural sheen to the surface and feels similar to silk or cashmere. These blankets come in 3 different colors: pale blue, pink and pale green and all come with a deep brown 100% silk trim. I was sent the pale green blanket to review. 

I have to take a moment to rant and rave about how soft this blanket is. I wanted to take it for myself. LOL I wish that they made like a throw blanket. I would be in heaven. Haley and Amberly LOVE this blanket. They call it their "softest blanket".  To be honest, I have never found a blanket that is as soft as this Lotus Bebe Bamboo blanket. 


I also love the fact that these blankets are perfect for children that have sensitive skin.  Bamboo fabric has natural anti-bacterial properties and double the absorbency of regular cotton.

I am always dealing with my lips getting dried out. It gets worse during the summer time. Because my lips get to dried out chapped, I am always on hunt for good lip balms.

I was very excited about the opportunity to review Resveratrol from Reservage Organics. I actually had no clue what it was, but I wanted to learn more.

I have never used a collagen before so I did not know what results I would experience. The Collagen Complex has rosemary in it. Hyaluronic acid adds natural hydration, and marine collagen irons out wrinkles while oat proteins soothe and brighten. This product helps you bounce back hence the name Bounce Back Collagen Complex!

When I used this it made my skin fell rehydrated. I felt refreshed and like I had new skin on my face. It was a new feeling and I liked it!


The last product that I got to review was the Bright Eyes Anti-aging Eye Cream. I never have used an eye cream before and I was kind of nervous. I was scared it would make my eyes all puffy and swollen looking. But it did the complete opposite! Marigold soothes and reduces inflammation, while rosemary stimulates circulation. 

I hate to admit this...but I have the problem with dark circles under my eyes. Ever since I started to use the anti-aging eye cream, the circles has lighten up atleast 50%! I am so excited about the results I am seeing!

Going Green: 90% Off- Every Day! Eco-Friendly Second Hand Shopping Secrets Review!

I was very excited when I was given the opportunity to review 90% Off Every Day! As many of you know, I LOVE finding great sales and usually do not buy anything unless I get the best deal possible. Now when I saw  90% Off Every Day I knew I had to read this book.

I am a huge fan of "Second Hand Shopping" and this book teaches you how to effectively second hand shop. I could really relate to Thrift Store shopping. I LOVE shopping at my local thrift stores! I can find the best deals on several things: toys, clothes, or household items. This book states it very well: "Thrift Store shopping is great for getting the absolute best value for your time and money. It is also a way of appreciating other people's stuff."


Back to school shopping is underway. I love finding my children's school clothes at thrift stores. I can buy 99% more clothes for them shopping at a local thrift store that has ALL kids clothes (no matter what it is) for $.79 a piece! I can score some great clothes at this price.

I highly recommend this book if you are looking to get the most of Second Hand Shopping or Thrift Store or learn how to second hand shop.

Going Green: Dog Natural Products Review & Giveaway

I was sent a goodie box full of dog products! The best thing about these products are that they were perfect for my "Going Green" series!


The first product that was given to my Mother's dog, Buster, was Stella & Chewy's Surf n' Turf Dinner for Dogs.

These dinners  has raw, naturally-raised meat, poultry or fish, sourced from USDA-inspected facilities, organic fruits and vegetables such as cranberries, carrots, apples, spinach, broccoli and beets. 


Buster really enjoyed these. I really liked the idea that Buster was eating food that was actually good for him. I also liked that these dinners did not look nasty. Have you ever noticed that dog food looks really gross? Stella & Chewy's Surf n' Turf Dinner for Dogs looked really good. You could tell it did not have that nasty stuff in it.


Buster was also sent a whole range of Tropiclean dental products. He was sent:

I really liked the variety of dental products. One of my favorites was the water additive. I think it is the easiest one out of all the products. Buster was also sent Lickety Stik.

I really enjoyed watching Buster use this. It gave me the giggles. I have never seen a treat in a stick form. It was really neat. All you do is unscrew the lid and let the dog lick from the stick. There is no mess! That was my favorite aspect of this product. 

The last product that was sent to Buster was the Pet Corrector Stops Barking.

I was really excited to try out this product. Buster is a dog that will bark nonstop and at the most inappropriate times. But I did not know what to expect when I used this product. I did not know if it was going to be one of those silent noise dog correctors. Well the Pet Corrector lets out this loud hissing noise. Buster immediately stopped barking and looked at me like what just happened? I was very pleased. I think this is one of those training products. Buster started barking again after a few minutes. I believe if you are trying to train your dog on not barking all the time, this product would be helpful.

Going Green: Cat Natural Products Review & Giveaway

As many of you may have noticed, I have been finding awesome "Going Green" products!


I was introduce to some wonderful cat and dog products. I was very excited to see what goodies was going to be sent for my cat name "Kitty" and for my Mother's dog named Buster.


The first thing that sent to Kitty was an Imperial Cat Scratch 'n Shapes. Kitty was sent the Giant Whale cat scratcher. 

I really liked this cat scratcher. It was made very well. It also came with some cat nip. What you do is sprinkle the cat nip down inside the bottom of the cat scratcher. I had the major problem of my cat using my rug as a cat scratcher. Since I received the Giant Whale Cat Scratcher I have not had that problem!


The second item I received for Kitty was Purr & Simple All-Natural Cat Litter.

Mother Nature provided Purr & Simple with an incredibly effective odor neutralizing ingredient the Nutshell! Our all-natural cat litter maintains a proprietary blend of fibrous material from tree-nut crops.

I liked that the Purr & Simple All-Natural Cat Litter is safe for all cats and kittens. I was also very pleased that it was very clean. When I poured the litter into the litter box there was no dust that flew up into my face. It did not smell at all. I was surprised that the litter was brown. I have never seen cat litter that was brown. The only thing that I did not like was that I had to change the litter box sooner than I had to in the past. 

The last item that was sent to Kitty was Stella & Chewy's Cat Dinner. Stella & Chewy's Cat Dinner is made with raw, natural meat, poultry or fish, without added hormones or antibiotics, sourced from USDA-inspected facilities. 

I was kind of worried about if Kitty would eat this. He is such a picky eater. I poured him some in his bowl. He walked over to it and started eating without any problem! I was very pleased! I also liked that the cat food did not smell awful. You know how when you open up cat food there is a nasty smell? I opened the bag and I did not have to jerk it away from my nose! Very happy about that!

I sprayed around the cat litter and cleaned the top of the cat litter box (I have the cat litter box that is like a house). I noticed a difference immediately! Not only did I notice less smell, but it lasted a long time!


I then tried ProBio Balance Original as a cleaner. I cleaned my countertops after letting my husband fix dinner. He always leaves such a mess behind him when he cooks. When I used this, it got my countertops very clean! I was very impressed!
