Going Green: ProBio Balance Original Review & Giveaway

ProBio Balance Original is used to improve the microbial balance of complex living systems by promoting the growth of naturally occurring beneficial microorgansims that enhance plant growth and product high yielding crops, which are drought, pest & disease resistant. ProBio Balance Original can not only be used as in inoculant to create living soils, it can also be used as a house cleaner, an inoculant for kitchen and municipal waste recycling, and as a spray to assist with general odor and pet control.


I really could not use it on gardens since I live in an apartment complex, so I tried it as a housecleaner and as a spray to assist with general odor and pet control. I really did not have any clue what to expect. 


I first tried ProBio Balance Original around my cat litter box. If anybody has an inside cat, then you will know about the smell of a cat litter box. I have only found a select few odor control products that actually work for cat litter. ProBio Balance Original is one of the select few. I sprayed around the cat litter and cleaned the top of the cat litter box (I have the cat litter box that is like a house). I noticed a difference immediately! Not only did I notice less smell, but it lasted a long time!


I then tried ProBio Balance Original as a cleaner. I cleaned my countertops after letting my husband fix dinner. He always leaves such a mess behind him when he cooks. When I used this, it got my countertops very clean! I was very impressed!

I received a Soda Stream to review! I was so excited when I learned that I would be receiving one to review. I have always wanted to try this out!

At first I had no clue what to expect or what to do when I received this!

I was sent the Fountain Jet Starter Kit with MANY different flavors to try out. I was giddy with delight when I opened the box and saw everything. There are over 30 flavors to choose from! I was even sent an Energy flavor! I can make my own energy drink!! 

Set up was very easy. The instructions were very easy to understand.

First you have to remove the cover from the back and insert the carbonator gas cartridge. At first, I thought it was going to be hard to set up. But it wasn't. It really could not be any easier!

Once the cartridge is screwed into place, you will snap the cover back into place. The next step is to fill the bottle with cold water up to the fill line. You are suppose to chill the water. I already had some cold water in the fridge and that is what I used. One thing I noticed about the bottle is that is NOT dishwasher safe. It will mess up the bottle if you wash it in the dishwasher.

Carbonating Bottles

SodaStream carbonating bottles are specially designed, high pressure-resistant bottles for use with SodaStream soda makers. SodaStream PET carbonating bottles are BPA-free and may be reused for up to 2 years. The glass carafes included with the Penguin soda maker may be used indefinitely, with proper care. Every SodaStream bottle and carafe comes with a fizz-preserving cap that helps to keep drinks fresh and fizzy longer than store-bought bottles.

The bottle will then be screwed into the Soda Stream. It is very easy to install the bottle. Once the bottle is screwed on, you will press the button on top 3 times to carbonate the water. Make sure you press the button until a loud noise happens and then quickly release. I think 3 times is just enough to carbonate the water just right.

Then you will take the flavor you want to make (I first did Cola). It comes with a measuring  cup. Fill the measuring cup up and then tilt the bottle towards you and slowly pour the flavoring in the bottle. Then you put the cap on the bottle and LIGHTLY shake the bottle.

You are done and can enjoy your soda!!

I was very impressed with Soda Stream. I was iffy on what I thought the Cola would taste like. It tasted just like the kind you can buy from the store! This is just way easier and cheaper in the long run to make your own!

Wanna here my favorite part about Soda Stream? It takes NO electricity or batteries to work! When I first saw this, I was like "What?!" It is really neat to own a product that takes no batteries or electricity to work!

*CLOSED* Country Bob All Purpose Sauce Review & Giveaway {2 Winners}

I received two bottles of Country Bob to review. Country Bob is an all purpose sauce. Let me start by saying OMG, this is soooo good!

It was 1968 when Country Bob Edson perfected his sauce recipe and today we call it All Purpose Sauce because it was more than just a steak sauce. Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce has remained the flagship item since 1982 when Country Bob, Inc. was established.

This is how I like to use Country Bob.

I take a package of beef tips. I take one whole bottle and simmer the beef tips in the sauce. It usually gets very watery. So after the meat cooks through, i will drain the watery sauce and add another bottle in with the beef tips. This time is will get thick since the meat is already cooked. I let it cook for another 5-6 minutes. Then my family eats up! It is really good and has this raspy homey taste.

But you can use Country Bob on anything. Chicken, beef, hamburgers. Even seafood! You name it!

I found a really cool recipe on their website. I will most def. be making this for my children.

Ingredients :

8 slices bread, buttered
4 slices cooked ham
6 Tbsp Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce (or may substitute Spicy)
4 slices Monterey Jack cheese

Recipe Method :

Place ham on unbuttered side of 4 slices of bread. Spread each ham slice with 1 1/2 tsp Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce. Top with cheese and remaining bread slices, buttered side up. Grill sandwiches in large skillet over medium heat, turning once, until golden brown and cheese is melted. Serve with additional Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce.
