I have to be honest, I thought the crust was kinda doughy but if you put in the microwave for an extra minute or so it helps the crust become more "hard" rather than doughy. However, Haley and Amberly did not care less if I keep in the pizza stuffers in for an extra minute. They LOVED the Totino's Pizza Suffers! I love them for the simple fact that there was NO mess! When you have two small children ranging from the ages of 4 and 5, you know that you can no escape a mess when they start to eat! With Totino's Pizza Stuffers, there is no mess! 

I also really enjoyed that it only takes a few minutes to cook and that it actually feels up my children. It seems like I hear "I'm hungry" like 25 times a day times 2! But when they ate these pizza stuffers, they were actually full!

First, I must say that I was very happy with the color choice since pink is one of my favorite colors. But I also really like that it was just the right size that I could take it anywhere with me! 


There have been a few times where I needed something to protect me, but I did not have anything. For example, I parked our van in a parking lot at our local hospital. I went inside to check on a friend. I was not in that hospital for 10 minutes and when I came back out there was a man going through my driver side door. I did not know what to do as I walked a little bit closer. He saw me standing there and he took off. I was very lucky that nothing happened to me. The year is 1908. Grandfather Hill buys a Pierce-Arrow Touring Car. He invites his grandchildren Timothy and Beth to go on a thirty-mile drive and appoints Grandmother Hill as the navigator. New technology soon meets resistance since Automobile vs. Horse is the prevailing sentiment. With no real roads, signs, or gas stations, the trip becomes an adventure as the travelers encounter one mishap after another. Still, the journey might have gone a little smoother, if only Grandfather Hill had listened to his navigator! 


Galloping Gertrude: By Motorcar in 1908 includes color illustrations, photographs, automotive timeline from 1769 to 2011, glossary, index of names, websites to visit and a list for further reading.


I had to read this book to Haley. Amberly really was not that interested. Haley really like hearing about the different "adventures" throughout this book. But her favorite part was looking at the illustrations and photographs. I really like reading and showing her things for our history. 


This book is perfect for older children that are in school. It will help them learn about the history of the automobile.


I found it quite interesting and learned a few things that I did not know!

Back to School: Numenko Review & Giveaway

Numenko is a hot new math game! When I was in school (a long time ago ha ha) the main subject I had problems with was math. I love that this game is challenging, educational and most imporant FUN! If I had this game when I was in school, I know I would not have struggled as much as I did!


How Numenko was created:
When my daughter Stephanie was at school she had problems with maths. I tried to buy a game that might help her, but there were no games available at that time. I liked maths so I decided to make one myself. Within a week I created a board game, unfortunately although it worked, it was slow and laborious and there was no fun in playing it.


I put the game away and on many occasions over the years I got it out and tried to work on ways to improve it. Many years later, after my daughter had left school, got married and had two children of her own, I cracked the problems with the game. I came up with the Multichoice.


I suddenly had a game that worked properly, it allowed maths to be played by all ages, helped children improve their number skills whilst playing a game. From the board game I called Numenko came the table top game  (Numenko-in-a-bag) that allowed children to play with adults on an equal footing. It has also been used by schools for Special Education Needs.

I was sent Numenko-in-a-bag to review. I liked that this game was very easy to learn. The setup of this game is kind of like Scrabble. It is very easy to get into this game since it is so much fun, that you even forget you are working on your math skills. I was worried that this game was going to be so complicated and hard for me to understand but it wasn't. I was very pleased at the outcome of playing this game. The only thing that I did not like is that my kids could not enjoy this game since there were too young to understand the concept of the game. It is for ages 7+.

After awhile the keyboard was messy. So, I cleaned the keyboard. Since it has SpillSeal technology I just sprayed the keyboard with some cleaning supplies and wiped cleaned. I then did the ultimate test: Will it work after I sprayed it down?

It worked! I was very impressed. Now I do not have to worry about letting Haley type on this keyboard! If she accidentally spills her drink on the keyboard, I can easily clean it up and not worry about it not working! I love this keyboard!!

As school is getting close to begin so is the germs from other children! My girls get sick the most during the school year. Coughing, sneezing, fever are the main symptoms my girls get when they get sick.
