I really enjoyed reading The Dragons of Chiril. I am a huge fan of fantasy books. This book is full of adventure! It kept me wanting to read more, even though it is meant to be a children's book. LOL.
The book is about Tipper. Tipper has been caring for her family's estate ever since her father disappeared. She has been making money from selling his famous artwork. After selling three statues, she learns that they were carved from an ancient foundation stone and that her reality is falling apart!
She must free her father in order to save the world, but can't do it alone.
She puts together a band of adventurers: Beccaroon (a giant parrot), Bealomondore (an aristocratic young artist), a handsome dragonkeeper prince, the Wizard Fenworth, and the tumanhofer librarian Librettowit.
This band of adventurers travel through valleys and kingdoms, deal with all sorts of good and evil to reunite the missing statues.
I could not stop reading this book! I had to find out if she was going to find her father and save her world! It is a must read, not only for children but for young adults too!
I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
